The launch event witnessed immediate success as Mrs. Awele Ilusanmi, a notable advocate for Nigerian writers, confirmed the receipt of N50,000 in book support from one of the participants of the program. For those unfamiliar with Mrs. Awele Ilusanmi’s work, she has been a cornerstone in promoting Nigerian writers by assisting them in publishing, promoting, and distributing their books. Her relentless dedication has opened doors for countless authors to realize their literary dreams.

On May 26, 2024, Mrs. Ilusanmi’s initiative hosted Roberta Vigilance, a globally renowned expert in book sponsorship and author of How to Secure Sponsors Successfully. Vigilance delivered a masterclass on “Effective Strategies to Get Sponsorship for Your Book,” offering actionable insights into identifying sponsors, crafting compelling proposals, and building lasting relationships.

Building on these efforts, LITACO hosted Brian Jud, Executive Director of the Association of Publishers for Special Sales (APSS) and CEO of Book Marketing Works, on June 27, 2024.
