MBARI SERIES: PROF. EGBOKHARE, PROF. EYISI, PROF.  DANDAURA TO HEADLINE JULY EDITION

The Association of Nigerian Authors is delighted to announce the upcoming July edition of the Mbari Literary Series, themed "Effective Use of Language in Communication." The event will take place at the esteemed Mamman Vatsa Writers Village in Mpape, Abuja, Nigeria, on Saturday, 22nd July 2023, starting at 11am. Additionally, the event will be accessible via Zoom for those who cannot attend in person, with the meeting ID: 81774390427 and passcode: 830765.

Renowned literary figures have been selected to lead this insightful edition of the Mbari Literary Series. Serving as the host for the event will be Prof. UDENTA Udenta, a distinguished scholar and writer, who has contributed significantly to the growth and development of Nigerian literature. Prof. ES Dandaura, an esteemed professor and researcher, will serve as the moderator, ensuring a dynamic and engaging discussion.

The event's highlight will be the participation of two prominent discussants, Prof. Francis Egbokhare and Prof. Joy Eyisi, both revered experts in language and communication studies. Prof. Egbokhare's vast knowledge and expertise in linguistics and sociolinguistics have made him a recognized authority in the field. Prof. Eyisi, with her extensive research and teaching experience in English Language and Applied Linguistics, has significantly contributed to the advancement of language studies in Nigeria.
